Crossfire Connect
Request account & data deletion
Last updated: July 5, 2026
Overview
You can request deletion of your Crossfire Connect account and associated personal data at any time. This page explains how to submit a request and what we delete or retain.
How to request deletion
- Send an email to crossfire@crossfireac.com with the subject line Crossfire Connect account deletion request.
- Include the email address tied to your Crossfire Connect account so we can verify ownership.
- If your account is linked to a church, you may also ask your church administrator to remove you from the organization; we will still process a full deletion request when you email us directly.
- We will confirm receipt and complete deletion within 30 days (usually sooner).
You can also submit a deletion request from the mobile app under Profile → Feedback — choose the account / privacy category and ask for account deletion. We will follow up at the email on your account.
Data we delete
When your deletion request is processed, we delete or anonymize personal data associated with your account, including:
- Firebase Authentication account (email / sign-in credentials)
- User profile (display name, preferences, church link, roles)
- Daily Walk progress (reading, quiz, reflection, completion records)
- Group membership and group activity attributed to you
- Prayer requests, discussion posts, and feedback you submitted
- Push notification / device tokens for your devices
- In-app notifications addressed to you
Data we may keep
- Legal or security records — minimal logs we are required to retain for fraud prevention, abuse investigation, or legal compliance (not used for marketing).
- Aggregated, non-identifying statistics — for example, total lesson completions for a church, where you are no longer identifiable.
- Backups — deleted data may persist in encrypted backups for up to 30 days before being purged automatically.
